Itinerary

Day 1 : New York -- Tel Aviv

Today board your international flight from USA to Tel Aviv. Arrive the next day.

Day 2 : Arrive in the Holy Land

On arrival, clear customs and immigration. Meeting by our local representative and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Jerusalem (Total 4 nights at the same hotel) (D)

Day 3: Jerusalem

Begin your day at the Mount of Olives visiting the Church of the Ascension and the Church of Pater Noster.
Enjoy the magnificent panorama of the Old City from the lookout and then walk down to the Franciscan
church of Dominus Flevit. Continue to the Church of All Nations in the Garden of Gethsemane. Proceed to
Bethlehem, Shepherd’s Fields and the Church of the Nativity. (BD)

Day 4 : Jerusalem

Enter the walled city and walk through the newly restored Jewish Quarter. Visit the Roman Cardo, Herodian
Quarter. Continue to the Western Wall. Visit the Church of St. Anne and the Pool of Bethsaida, where Jesus
healed the paralytic man, Walk along the Via Dolorosa and the Via Dolorosa, Stations of the Cross to the
Church of the Holy Sepulchre. End the day in the Garden Tomb. (BD)

Day 5 : Jerusalem

At Mt. Zion, visit the Tomb of King David, Room of the Last Supper and Dormition Abbey, the spot where the
Virgin Mary fell into her eternal sleep. Depart the area of the old city and drive to the Israel Museum, site of the
miniature re creation of Jerusalem as it was during the time of the 2nd Temple and home of the Shrine of the Book, where many of the Dead Sea Scrolls are on display. Continue to visit Yad Vashem, memorial to the Holocaust. Tour the Children’s Memorial, the hall of Remembrance and the Museum. (BD)

Day 6 : Jerusalem ~ Galilee

Following your full Israeli breakfast, check out and drive south along the shore of the Dead Sea, the lowest
place on earth, to Masada, the last stronghold of the Jewish Zealots after the destruction of the Second Temple
in 70 A.D. Ascend Masada by cablecar and visit the food storeroom, water irrigation system and Herod’s
Palace. Later enjoy a “float” in the mineral rich waters of the Dead Sea before continuing north to the Galilee.
Overnight: Tiberias x 3 nights. (BD)

Day 7 : Galilee

Today, visit Capernaum, centre of Jesus’ Ministry. Located here are the ruins of an ancient synagogue and the
site of Peter’s House. Visit Tabgha and Mount of Beatitudes. Visit the Church of the Primacy of St Peter where
Jesus ended his ministry. Drive along the Golan Heights descending at the south end of the Sea of Galilee and
Yardenit, the traditional Baptismal site at the Jordan River. End the day at the Tamar B’Kfar farm and learn of
the history and family who came from Russia 100 years ago to establish a date farm and time for free tasting of
the various types of dates grown in the Galilee. [BD]

Day 8 : Galilee

Proceed to Nazareth, where Jesus spent his early years. Visit Mary’s Well and Church of the Annunciation. Stop
in Cana, site of the “wedding miracle” where Jesus turned water to wine. End the touring day with a boat ride
on the Sea of Galilee. (BD)

Day 9 : Galilee ~ Tel Aviv ~ Farewell Dinner

Check out this morning and proceed to Tel Aviv and the ancient port of Jaffa; see the House of Simon the
Tanner then free time to visit the artist’s quarter. Enjoy a farewell dinner before your transfer to the airport for
security clearance and flight check in. (BD)

Day 10 : Tel Aviv -- New York

Flight departs just after midnight. On arrival, clear passport control and customs. Welcome home !
