This morning we dive into the heart of New Delhi, driving past the India Gate, the Presidential Palace, the Parliament House and the nearby Secretariat buildings. In the afternoon, visit the Mausoleum of Emperor Humayun, a stunning example of early Mughal architecture, a distinctive style that originated in the 16th and 17th centuries. After visiting the Qutab Minar, a 12th century tower, we venture to Old Delhi and visit the Jama Masjid by bicycle rickshaw. Complete our day with a visit to the magnificent Red Fort then enjoy a dinner of local cuisine at a specialty Indian restaurant.
